Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, is one of the most beloved deities in Hinduism. He is the divine speaker of the Bhagavad Gita, the sacred scripture that provides guidance on dharma, devotion, and the path to liberation.
Krishna's life exemplifies the balance between the divine and the human - from his playful childhood in Vrindavan, to his role as the supreme guide in the Mahabharata.
"Whenever dharma declines and adharma prevails, I manifest myself. For the protection of the good, for the destruction of evil, and for the establishment of dharma, I am born age after age."
